Professor Yasser Hosny is a distinguished Professor of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine at Benha University. He holds a Doctorate in Coronary Angioplasty from Essen–Duisburg University, Germany (2002), and is the inventor and patent holder of a non–flow-limiting brachytherapy balloon for mitral valve dilation, registered at the Munich Office for Patents and Innovations under patent number 200.14.621.1.
